What is Early Music Live!

AIMS

“BREMF really went above and beyond to help us out with finding those who might be interested in our ensemble and its projects; I can't think of what else they could have done for us!” Katie de La Matter, Ensemble Tempus Fugit (2008 and 2009)

The aim of the Early Music Live! scheme is to help young outstanding professional musicians to become more employable. We aim to support young musicians in their transition from music student to music professional .

We focus on helping you to develop the wider skills set necessary to pursue a successful career as a professional musician in the 21 st century. As well as performing opportunities, this also includes:

a) training and advice on how to devise and undertake education work and

b) an understanding of how to approach and work with promoters.

“The music colleges focus (understandably) on the quality of ones playing but that's often not enough in real life. One needs the knowledge and tools BREMF offers as well to be able to achieve goals. Past Early Music Live! scheme participant
