The BREMF Community Choir is for those who have never sung in a choir before, or who would like to take up singing again but feel a bit rusty!

You need only be able to sing a simple song, and be prepared to work as part of a team of equally committed people of all ages…. and to have a great time doing so!

The choir has been working together for over a year as the Training Choir building skills and confidence.  We now want to institute the choir in a more permanent way to work on repertoire that reflects the broad range of music we perform within the festival. Activities include:

• learning to read from basic music notation
• sessions on basic vocal technique useful for any style of singing
• workshops with visiting experts
• invitations and reduced price tickets to selected concerts
• informal performances and participation in concerts within Brighton Early Music Festival
