How I started singing
I was born into a singing atmosphere, particularly my mother always sang, be it while washing dishes, making dinner or at family parties. Or indeed lulling me to sleep! I adored the sound of my mother's voice, and listened intently. When we went on long drives in the car we sang to pass the time. At family gatherings singing was my partypiece too. My cousins of similar age to me and myself would all line up to perform our party pieces with gusto.I have two younger sisters who are fabulous singers.
I guess I was a born performer! I can remember at the age of 4 being brought to "the big class" in school and performing renditions of early childhood songs. A new audience! I loved it! And it seemed like my audience loved it too!
Why I love it

I consider singing as part of who I am. A day without singing would be like a day without breathing. Unthinkable. If I'm not singing absentmindly, than singing can be a form of transportation of the mind... May I add that I am always learning too!
