Broken Consorts at Midsummer
A week of music making for viols, plucked strings, recorders, other soft winds and singers
Course tutor: Alison Kinder
Triora, Italy
June 25th to July 2nd
Arrive in Triora early afternoon June 25th, to start that evening. Depart early July 2nd

Making her debut in Triora, Alison Kinder, highly experienced workshop leader and renowned performer, will lead a week working on a range of renaissance masterpieces for large and small ensembles and aimed at players with some experience.
Exact repertoire will be tailored to the course participants and include music by composers such as Lassus, Gabrieli and Palestrina as well as music from Tudor England, especially that reflecting the loveliness of summer and flowers. There will be plenty of opportunities for people to both sing and play, and also to enjoy the stunning beauty of Triora in midsummer, when the meadows are full of flowers and the fireflies first appear.
