Tabea Debus and Olwen Foulkes recorders

Benedict Williams harpsichord

Dazzling young virtuosi Flauti d’echo explore the range of national styles that were popular in London both before and after the Restoration of the Monarchy. Beginning with the music of intrepid early English opera composers, the concert will include French-influenced music from the court of Charles II, as well as the Italianate style of the musicians who played in Handel’s London operas. Includes music by Purcell, Blow, Handel, and Paisible.
