BREMF 415 Baroque Workshop Orchestra

Known to BREMF audiences through her performances in Red Priest, Julia will be leading BREMF 415, our new baroque orchestra for competent amateur players, to further the understanding and performance of baroque music using instruments suitable for the repertoire.

Rehearsals will initially take place on Mondays once a month, 7pm to 9.30pm with a short break
Dates for 2019:

  • 1 July (if sufficient numbers by then)
  • 16 September
  • 14 October (please note date has been changed)
  • 4 November
  • 2 December

It is likely that the first session will include Lully: Marche pour la ceremonies des Turcs
and Bach: Orchestral Suite No. 4

Rehearsals at The Church of the Holy Cross, 2 Downsview, Woodingdean, BN2 6BD
There is car parking at the church and it is easily accessible by bus.
Fees per session £15 to be paid by cash or cheque on the day.
(Please note we will have to charge £20 if fewer than 10 people).
Casual cancellations payable if less than 48 hours' notice given.
Julia will provide the music.
Please bring music stands and a flask of something hot to drink if you would like.
