This theatrical programme of exquisite French music, combining duets, solos and instrumental music, centres around the rivalry of the ‘Lullistes’ and the ‘Ramoneurs’. We follow the transition of the traditional style Tragédie en musique, into the new wave of Rameau, learning about the nuances and revelling in the differences along the way.
