Date & Time: Saturday 25 October, 13:00

Venue: St Nicholas Church
Travel back to 13th-century northern France with Per Sonat uncovering the refined, expressive world of the trouvères, poet-composers who sang of courtly love. Influenced by the Occitan troubadours of the south, the trouvères developed their own tradition, rich in poetic subtlety and melodic grace, through which they tell tales of longing, devotion and unattainable love.
