Five Marian Legends

The legendary Joglaresa presents an evening of medieval cantigas telling of weird and wonderful miracles performed by the Virgin Mary, saving body and soul of many a hapless knight!

Date & Time: Sunday 24 October, 7.30pm

Ticket price: £20

Venue: St Martin's Church

Amongst these apocryphal tales, Joglaresa tells how the Virgin Mary rescues knights who feel murderous; have sold their souls to the devil; have spent a lifetime robbing others; are wrongly imprisoned; or who need curing of their lusts!  The programme will also include dance songs and musings on our own temptations and mortality – all delivered with the group’s inimitable energy and cheer.
