How you can help us

As well as promoting concerts, we provide support and mentoring for young artists through our BREMF Emerging Artists scheme, and take live music into primary, secondary and special schools across Sussex.

The past few years have been extremely challenging for the arts sector, with large reductions in ticket income, grant funding and donations. Your support has never been more important in helping the Festival survive and thrive for the future. Thank you!

The Malcolm Rose Memorial Fund

The Malcolm Rose Memorial Fund was established in memory of Lewes-based harpsichord maker Malcolm Rose who was a key part of BREMF, supplying and tuning harpsichords for our events.

Malcolm was passionate about our work with young artists, and the fund aims to support an emerging ensemble to give a lunchtime concert at BREMF each year. The first Malcolm Rose Memorial Concert was given by Ensemble Hesperi in 2023, and the second by Flutes & Frets in 2024.

You can support this and future events with a donation.
