One Song
An audio-visual installation and community archive developed by artist Kadir Karababa with Brighton refugee and migrant communities
The One Song Exhibition will run at Fabrica from 9 - 28 October
One Song explores how music carries memory, identity and a sense of home across borders. One Song in Brighton has been developed in partnership with BREMF and Fabrica, working with Brighton community groups to invite participants to share a song that transports them to the place they first called home. One Song was originally commissioned by Counterpoints Arts. This iteration has been supported by Arts Council England and Counterpoints Arts. The exhibition is free, and is open daily except Mondays. Fabrica, 40 Duke Street, Brighton BN1 1AG
Opening times
Tuesdays 1.00pm – 5.00pm
Wednesdays – Sundays 12.00 noon – 6.00pm
There will be a few late openings towards the end of the exhibition run – to be announced here in October.
