A Pastoral Journey: Highlights from BREMF@home 2020

A special programme to celebrate Early Music Day 2021 - highlights from our 2020 Festival with Ensemble Augelletti and Pocket Sinfonia.

Date & Time: Sunday 21 March, 16.00 (17.00 CET)

Venue: YouTube & Facebook

To celebrate Early Music Day 2021 – a Europe-wide celebration of early music organised by REMA: Early Music in Europe – BREMF is pleased to contribute this programme from Ensemble Augelletti and Pocket Sinfonia. Both ensembles featured as part of our 2020 online Festival – BREMF@home: Across the Earth. Let Ensemble Augelletti transport you to an Arcadian landscape, with music by Handel, Corelli, Scarlatti and Geminiani filmed in the beautiful 15th century tithe barn at Sullington Manor Farm. This is followed by Pocket Sinfonia performing Beethoven’s iconic Pastoral Symphony, arranged for chamber ensemble by Hummel. Both performances are accompanied by introductions from the artists, and film of the stunning Sussex countryside.
