Enter the dream world of The Dream of Poliphilus, a remarkable Renaissance tale of desire and imagination. While the original story follows Poliphilus in pursuit of the elusive Polia, Artemis Consort retells the tale through her eyes, questioning the assumptions of the male gaze and giving voice to a previously silent character. Combining music contemporary with the novel, storytelling and live video art by Silvia Fabiani, this performance explores longing, agency and the female voice within a richly imagined dreamscape.
